SteelGate™ and The BorderWare Firewall Server stop Spyware and Malware at the perimeter. Using Kaspersky™ Anti-Virus, various forms of traffic through the firewall are
scanned and filtered with configurable actions:
- Email – All email messages through the SMTP server are scanned for viruses and spyware.
- WWW – All web requests, HTTP GET (i.e. web pages, file transfers, active content, etc.), are scanned for viruses and spyware before being passed to the browser.
- FTP – All files uploaded or downloaded via FTP will be scanned for viruses and spyware.
