Hardware Warranties

All BorderWare appliances are warranted against failure for 1 year from the date of purchase. The warranty can be extended to a maximum length of 3 years from the date of purchase. Failure includes any loss of functionality in the hardware system, for example:

disk drive failure
CPU or motherboard failure
Cooling fan
Lights
Connectors
Etc.

The following scenarios are not covered under warranty:

accidental damage caused by the user, e.g. improper handling, unauthorized modifications to the system.
environmental damage, e.g. flood, fire.
